RTX Corporation is seeking a Facilities Engineer specializing in Fire Protection Systems for the Andover, MA facility, with responsibility for fire alarm systems, NFPA compliance and coordination across teams. The role requires DoD Secret clearance and strong knowledge of building codes.
The engineer will lead design, testing and implementation of fire protection across Northeast locations, liaising with customers, contractors, and regulators while ensuring readiness and cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in EE, ME or related field with 5+ years leading building infrastructure projects.
- 5+ years’ experience with Fire Alarm Systems, NFPA 72, and related codes.
- Strong knowledge of MA/National Building Codes and FM design requirements.
Responsabilités
- Subject matter expert for Fire Protection Systems.
- Meet RTX policies and fire codes compliance.
- Provide technical support to management and trades.
- Coordinate fire, life-safety regulatory requests.
- Liaise with local fire departments.
- Willingness to work nights/weekends and on-call duties.
