Job summary

RTX is seeking a facilities leader in Andover, MA to oversee plumbing and mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with OSHA, Massachusetts Plumbing Code, and building regulations. Lead site trades, manage maintenance and capital projects, and coordinate with engineering, security, and internal customers to minimize disruptions.

The role requires 5+ years in facilities maintenance, MA Master/Journeyman Plumbing Licenses, and strong knowledge of fire protection systems, AutoCAD, and building

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in facilities maintenance and construction including carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, sheetmetal, and janitorial.
• Active Massachusetts Master and Journeyman Plumbing Licenses.
• Working knowledge of fire protection systems including wet & dry sprinkler systems and specialty suppression.
• 2+ years’ experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, plumbing schematics, and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide front line leadership to site represented plumbing trades; give verbal and written instruction, supervise timekeeping, training, and safety talks.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, capital projects, and contractor activities to minimize disruptive operations.
• Develop positive working relationships with represented employees, union leadership, engineers, and internal customers while promoting safety and continuous improvement.
