RTX is seeking Principal System Safety Engineers to lead comprehensive system safety programs for DoD programs in onsite locations across MA and RI. The role requires DoD Secret clearance, a STEM degree, and 8+ years of experience in safety engineering and analysis.

You will implement MIL-STD-882E compliant programs, manage safety tasks across the program IMS, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with government customers and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience developing and implementing MIL-STD-882E System Safety programs and analyses.
• Experience writing technical reports and presenting to safety authorities.

Responsabilités

• Develop MIL-STD-882E compliant system safety programs and analyses.
• Integrate safety tasks into the IMS and manage safety budgets and EVMS.
• Lead safety risk assessments, engage with safety boards and government customers.
