Job summary

Gigantes Group is seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer (Technical Focus) to lead complex protection and life safety projects remotely from the U.S. This purely technical role emphasizes design leadership and mentorship without sales targets.

You will deliver detailed code consulting, fire alarm and sprinkler system design, and collaborate with architects and contractors. Ideal candidates have 8–15+ years of experience, a PE license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

8–15+ years of fire protection engineering experience.
PE license in Fire Protection Engineering (required or in process).
Strong technical background across NFPA, IBC/IFC, and local codes.
Experience working in a consulting engineering environment.
Desire to focus on technical excellence rather than sales or BD.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead technical delivery of fire protection and life safety engineering projects.
Perform detailed code consulting, life safety analysis, and system design.
Design and review fire alarm, sprinkler, smoke control, and special hazard systems.
Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
Serve as a technical resource and mentor to junior engineers.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and AHJs.
Ensure quality, compliance, and consistency across project deliverables.
