Zusammenfassung

EXP Global Inc. is seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to join our growing MEP/FP team. This remote role can be located anywhere in the US and involves leading the design of fire protection systems for a range of facilities, mentoring staff, and supporting client relationships.

You will develop hydraulic analyses, code compliance strategies, and life-safety plans while coordinating with multiple disciplines and interface with AHJs, insurers, and contractors.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in fire protection engineering for building projects.
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) required.
• Professional Engineer license in Fire Protection Engineering preferred.
• Experience with automatic sprinkler systems, standpipe systems, fire pumps, special hazard suppression, fire alarm and life safety systems.

Aufgaben

• Lead the design and engineering of fire protection systems for diverse building projects.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and fire protection analyses.
• Prepare drawings, specs, reports, and narratives.
• Coordinate with architects, structural, MEP disciplines.
• Interface with AHJs, insurers, and contractors.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews and design reviews.
• Support construction administration and site observations.
• Develop life safety plans and egress analyses.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, IBC, FBC, and local AHJs.
