Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural or Chemical Engineering (or related discipline).
• PE license and ability to obtain security clearances if required.
• Minimum 7 years of related fire protection experience.
• Experience with NFPA, UFC, and life-safety codes.
• Travel up to 10% for project site visits.

Responsibilities

• Develop fire protection designs including water supply, sprinklers, and fire alarm systems.
• Act as QFPE for federal projects and ensure life-safety requirements.
• Review drafts for regulatory compliance and sign off on designs.
• Collaborate with sales to prepare RFP responses and client proposals.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise project team members.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives.
