Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Travel may be required; frequency varies.
• Equivalent experience may substitute for degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop fire protection designs including water supply, hydraulics, and sprinkler systems.
• Serve as QFPE on federal projects for life safety and fire protection.
• Review designs for compliance with NFPA, UFC, and local codes.
• Collaborate with sales to prepare proposals and respond to RFPs.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise engineers on projects.
