Arcadis is seeking a Fire Protection Federal SME to lead the fire protection discipline across multiple federal facility projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and ensure design compliance to NFPA/UL/UFC standards while managing budgets and schedules.

The role requires a U.S. citizen with a PE license and 10+ years in facility design. Location is negotiable; travel to project sites will be required as part of client collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or fire protection engineering.
• At least 10 years of consulting engineering experience in facility design; 15+ years preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead design teams and mentor junior staff for construction-ready drawings and specs.
• Provide project-level leadership for fire alarm, smoke control, fire suppression, and life-safety design reviews.
• Apply NFPA, NEC, NESC, UL, UFC, and UFGS standards to designs.
• Travel to project sites for surveys and collaboration with client teams.
• Develop budgets, proposals, schedules, and staffing plans.
• Pursue clients and opportunities in federal, state, and local markets.
