Arcadis is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to join our design team in Houston, Texas. You will lead multiple fire protection projects and ensure compliance with safety standards while mentoring junior staff.

This role requires a Bachelor of Science in mechanical or fire protection engineering and a Professional Engineering Licensure. We offer a competitive salary range of $80,461 - $155,000 with extensive benefits including medical, 401K, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Fire Protection Professional Engineering Licensure in the United States is essential.
• Extensive experience producing IFC design packages for federal agency facilities.
• Deep knowledge of life safety codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams and mentor junior staff.
• Develop budgets, proposals, schedules, and staffing plans.
• Travel to project sites for fire protection site surveys.

Skills

Fluency in design and modeling software (Revit, BIM, AutoCAD)

Strong communication skills

Knowledge of life safety codes

Education
