Jensen Hughes is seeking a Mid to Senior Fire Protection Engineer to add to our growing team in Los Angeles, California. This role requires direct client engagement and the ability to perform own technical work, including building plan reviews and fire code analyses.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering (Fire Protection preferred), 4+ years in fire protection consulting, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering (preferably Fire Protection), Architecture, or related field.
• Four (4) years of professional Fire Protection Consulting experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate building and fire code reviews and analyses, including plan reviews and site visits.
• Develop fire protection strategies and performance-based design approaches.
• Prepare technical reports and peer reviews of project deliverables.
• Communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Grow business through client relationships as a Doer Seller.
