Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in fire protection design/engineering.
- PE license or the ability to obtain one.
- Proficiency in Revit and BIM software.
- Strong understanding of fire protection and life safety systems.
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work across disciplines.
- Detail-oriented with experience in system calculations and creating specifications.
Responsibilities
- Design and review fire protection and life safety systems on multi-discipline projects.
- Coordinate with other A/E disciplines to ensure cohesive project delivery.
- Engage in design review meetings and workshops to align with client goals and project needs.
- Assist in preparing comprehensive fire protection packages, including fire suppression, fire alarm, and life safety.
- Create detailed specification documentation for fire alarm and suppression systems.
- Perform fire protection calculations to ensure accuracy and code compliance.
