Job summary

Thomas Young Group seeks an experienced Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer to join our engineering consultancy in Pittsburgh. You will design and develop plumbing and fire protection systems for a variety of building types and take ownership of projects from concept through construction.

This role requires 5+ years in a consulting environment, proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD, and strong communication and project management skills. LEED or CPD accreditation is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineering experience within a consulting environment.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong communication, organization and project management skills.
• Comfortable leading projects and working directly with clients and stakeholders.
• LEED Accreditation or CPD Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop plumbing and fire protection systems for a variety of building types
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers and project teams throughout project delivery
• Manage project schedules, budgets and technical documentation
• Produce high quality designs that meet applicable codes, regulations and safety standards
• Support successful project delivery from concept through construction
