Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in fire protection or related field.
• At least 4 years of fire protection design experience.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
• Proficiency in REVIT.

Responsibilities

• Act as Designer of Record for fire protection design projects, including schedule and budget management and stamping drawings.
• Gather information, interview stakeholders, perform calculations, and prepare rough layouts.
• Present findings to clients and stakeholders and perform high-level tasks under defined standards.
• Research materials and assist designers with system design for fire sprinkler, suppression, and fire alarm layouts.
• Conduct construction administration and field investigations, manage RFIs and change orders.
• Provide staff development and conduct quality control reviews at milestones.
