Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Project Designer in Pleasanton, CA to design, engineer and document mid to large-scale solutions with moderate to high complexity. You will work within a dynamic team, mentoring drafters and aligning with project scope, budget, and schedule to deliver high‑quality engineering drawings.

The role requires AutoCAD/AutoDesk proficiency, strong reading of drawings, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent; experience in design/documentation roles.
• Ability to read construction drawings and understand architectural/electrical layouts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer and document medium to large size solutions per project requirements.
• Guide and mentor drafters to ensure accuracy of engineering drawings.
• Monitor project budget and schedule; coordinate with project management and sales to manage scope.
