Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time, enthusiastic Project Designer to join our culture and help us grow as Convergint grows.

You will design, engineer and document installed solutions with moderate complexity, communicate with colleagues and AHJs, and identify cost-effective options that meet project requirements.

Requirements include 1+ years drafting or designing security or fire alarm systems and experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD or FireCAD.

Qualifications

• 1+ years drafting or designing security and/or fire alarm systems for enterprise-level customers.
• Proficiency with CAD, AutoCAD, FireCAD or similar design software.
• Experience in documenting installed solutions and ensuring code compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer and document installed solutions with moderate complexity per project requirements.
• Proactively communicate with colleagues, vendors, consultants and AHJ authorities.
• Identify cost-effective solutions that meet customer requirements within the project schedule.
• Review scope and product specifications to ensure compliance with electrical requirements.
• Perform duties as assigned within the project scope.
