Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Project Designer to design, engineer and document medium to large-scale solutions with moderate to high complexity. You will be part of a dynamic team that supports growth as Convergint grows.

5–7 years of AutoCAD experience and NICET certifications are preferred. The role emphasizes strong customer focus, collaboration with project teams, and a commitment to delivering results in a positive culture.

Qualifications

• Advanced CAD design and drafting experience with building systems.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/electrical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic theory and components.
• Customer-focused mindset with ability to perform under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer and document medium to large sized solutions per project requirements.
• Support pre-sales activities to identify, scope and estimate cost-effective solutions.
• Guide and mentor drafters on project teams to ensure accurate engineering drawings.
• Coordinate with Project Management to monitor budgets and schedules.
• Collaborate with Sales and Project Management to manage scope changes and align with budget.
