Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Business Analyst Consultant in the DC/VA area to transform financial management processes and support performance measurement. The role involves collaborating with senior leadership, gathering requirements, and guiding changes across defense and national security programs.

The position offers hybrid work (2–3 days in client or Guidehouse offices) and opportunities to develop client-facing skills, with a focus on governance, risk, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, information systems, engineering, business analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, consulting, financial management, process improvement, product management, or project management.
• Ability to synthesize information quickly, lead client discussions, and document requirements.
• Experience supporting client meetings and presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
• Familiarity with project management best practices and agile ceremonies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess current-state processes and identify pain points.
• Develop flow charts and process maps; gather and document requirements.
• Collaborate with developers and client stakeholders; support testing.
• Develop SOPs, job aids, and training materials; provide status reports.
• Facilitate internal meetings and client discussions; support agile ceremonies.
