Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP is seeking a Financial Systems Developer to maintain and customize financial systems, with strong SQL, SSRS/SSIS and Aderant expertise. The role supports multiple interfaces and reports and collaborates with IT and business partners.

Remote work is allowed with residency near Dallas, New York or Washington, DC. The candidate should have 5+ years of Aderant experience, excellent Excel skills, and a track record of delivering timely solutions in a demanding law

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, accounting, finance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and customizing financial systems: Aderant Expert Classic, Framework, iTimekeep, Expert Image, Generic Importer, Intapp Open, Chrome River, BillBlast and more.
• Develop inquiries and reports as needed.
• Initiate/monitor/document interfaces between financial databases and apps.
• Customize/modify financial systems front-end and back-end (database).
• Assist with creation and modification of bill templates and check formats.
• Participate in month-end closing activities.
• Assist with testing new customizations, releases and upgrades.
• Provide Help Desk support for financial systems and troubleshoot issues.
• Serve as a liaison with IT and other internal partners.
• Other duties as assigned.
