Job summary

Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP seeks a Financial Systems Analyst to administer and support its global financial systems. The role involves configuring Aderant Expert modules, managing timekeeper and rate setups, and collaborating with Finance, Revenue Management, and HR to translate business needs into system solutions.

The candidate should have 4+ years of relevant experience, strong SQL skills, and advanced Excel abilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems, computer science or a related field is required.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Experience with the Aderant Expert suite including rate, timekeeper, client/matter and billing setup.
Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and T-SQL is required.
SSRS report development experience is preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Administer and support the firm’s financial systems: Aderant Expert Classic, Aderant Expert Framework, iTimekeep, Intapp Open, Chrome River, BillBlast and others.
Gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications for financial systems.
Set up and maintain timekeeper rates, clients, matters, and billing teams.
Manage user security and access, including DocuDraft, Security Manager and View Editor.
Develop and maintain SSRS reports, alerts and ad hoc queries for Finance, Revenue Management, Billing and Accounting.
Assist with testing new releases and upgrades and provide Help Desk support.
