Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation seeks an accounting leader for Financial Operations. You will oversee inventory balancing for provider refunds, create and review journal entries, and perform reconciliations for complex accounts.

You will supervise testing and training for new IT implementations, manage recoupment cash, RFCRs, and special projects, and ensure accurate daily balances. Strong communication and Excel proficiency are essential. Hybrid role with 3 days in office, 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting or finance with required experience.
• 4 years in financial operations or 6 years in financial operations.
• 4 years testing and researching system issues.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Access; strong communication.
• Knowledge of FSS/IMNU/Financial Payment databases and bank on-line systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting for Financial Operations including inventory balancing.
• Create and review journal entries and reconcile complex accounts.
• Oversee recoupment cash, RFCRs, advance checks, and special projects.
• Review and process SSD manual deletes and inventory clearings.
• Supervise testing and training for new ITG implementations.
