Health Care Service Corporation seeks a leader to supervise accountants and accounting clerks, guiding workflow and developing staff. The role includes coaching, training, goal-setting input, and performance reviews, with oversight of complex billing, reconciliations, and sub-ledger activities. Hybrid role: 3 days in office; 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business.
• 3 years accounting experience.
• PC proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Employee development, work management, and motivation skills.
• Clear, concise oral and written communication.
• Self motivated/self starter.

Responsabilités

• Lead accountants and accounting clerks; manage workflow.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training.
• Assist with goal setting, hiring/selection, performance reviews.
• Oversee daily/weekly accounting activities; resolve billing issues.
• Oversee delinquency monitoring, settlements, renewals, and claims exceptions.
• Review journal entries and reconciliations; approve as needed.
• Document processes and implement improvements.
