Health Care Service Corporation is seeking a senior accounting leader to guide accountants and clerks, drive workflow efficiency, and coach staff. You will influence goal setting, hiring and performance reviews while supervising daily billing, settlements, and reconciliations.

You will oversee journal entries, ledger accuracy, and process improvements, plus train new hires on department policies and practices.

Competenze

Bachelor Degree in Business.
3 years accounting experience.
PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Employee development, work management, and motivation skills.
Clear, concise oral and written communication, with good grammar and word choice, matched to the audience.
Self motivated/self starter.

Mansioni

Lead accountants and accounting clerks; supervise workflow and staff development.
Provide input to goal setting, hiring, selection, and performance reviews.
Oversee daily and weekly accounting activities; resolve billing and balancing issues.
Oversee delinquency monitoring, settlements, renewals, and claims exceptions.
Manage sub ledger and general ledger entries and ensure accuracy.
Review account setup for billing new aso accounts.
Review weekly/monthly billing and settlement credit/debit adjustments before entry.
Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations.
Document new processes; suggest and implement improvements; train new employees.
