Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Senior Financial Data Analyst for a fully remote role in the United States. The role leads advanced analytics projects impacting revenue growth and operational efficiency, partnering with executives to define KPIs and data-driven strategies.

You will build predictive models, automate reports, and drive data governance across Finance, Sales, and Operations using SQL, Python/R, Power BI, Tableau, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field; 5–8 years of experience in financial analytics, BI, or sales ops.
• Expertise in SQL, Python/R, Power BI, and advanced Excel modeling; ERP/CRM experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of sales processes, metrics, and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics projects influencing executive decisions and strategic outcomes.
• Define KPIs and reporting frameworks with senior leadership.
• Develop predictive models and forecasts to support planning and scenario analysis.
• Design automated dashboards using Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, AWS, and Azure.
• Ensure data pipelines are scalable and accurate for enterprise analytics.
