Job summary

Codman Square Health Center, Inc. seeks a Lead Financial Counselor (CAC) to join the Enrollment and Revenue Integrity Department. This senior role provides operational guidance, supports patients with health insurance enrollment and access to financial assistance, and ensures adherence to established workflows.

You will lead training, monitor performance metrics, and coach staff to maintain quality and cultural sensitivity while supporting patient access and reimbursement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred.
• CAC (Certified Application Counselor) required; CPC/CCA preferred.
• 3+ years in Revenue Cycle or Patient Financial Services.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Experience in FQHC or community health settings preferred.
• Proficient with EPIC/OCHIN EMRs and CPT/ICD-10 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Enrollment/Financial Counseling team.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
• Train new staff and ensure SOP adherence.
• Assist with insurance enrollment and public benefit programs.
• Monitor commitments and ensure timely outreach for financial assistance.
