Qualifications
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in finance or data analysis.
- Experience reviewing and approving financial transactions and supporting documentation.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
- Solid understanding of journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
Responsibilities
- Review and approve monthly journal entries to ensure accuracy.
- Validate supporting documentation and investigate anomalies.
- Ensure proper account coding, accruals, reclassifications, and adjustments.
- Collaborate with accounting to resolve discrepancies in close processes.
- Monitor close calendars and ensure timely completion of close activities.
- Support audits by providing documentation and analyses.
- Identify control gaps and recommend process improvements.
- Assist with system implementations and automation initiatives.
