ZT Systems is seeking a Financial Operations Manager (Scrap & Inventory Control) in Secaucus, NJ. You will oversee inventory valuation, scrap and disposition processes, and in-transit accruals, coordinating with internal audit and finance leadership to ensure accuracy.

The role requires 6+ years in financial operations or related fields, SAP proficiency, and experience leading audits. You will collaborate across AP, inventory governance, and supply chain teams to optimize close cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in financial operations, inventory control, operational accounting, or supply chain finance.
• 0-3 years leading and mentoring talent.
• Hands-on experience coordinating operational, internal, or external inventory-related audits.
• Proven track record managing inventory valuation methodologies (standard vs. weighted average cost), scrap approvals (SRA/STO), and in-transit PO accrual reconciliations.
• Deep proficiency with SAP and Jira.
• Strong understanding of physical inventory workflows, vendor reconciliation models, and operational risk controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly inventory valuation reviews and coordinate data between internal audit, inventory governance, and finance leadership.
• Oversee monthly scrap review processes and ensure SRA/STO approvals are conducted before posting in SAP.
• Review and approve monthly vendor statement-to-AP reconciliations and recognize in-transit inventory with month-end accruals.
• Lead and coordinate internal and external audits, providing schedules and documentation as needed.
• Manage posting rules and automated write-off workflows in SAP to align inventory movements with ledger entries.
• Collaborate with AP, Senior Analysts, Inventory Governance, Internal Audit, and supply chain teams to resolve bottlenecks.
