Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Finance Analyst for the ProCare business to provide financial insight that supports performance planning and informed decision-making. You will contribute to month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting, partnering with Marketing, Selling and G&A leaders to analyze results and drive accountability.

The role is hybrid and based in San Jose, CA or Flower Mound, TX, offering opportunities to influence financial and operational objectives across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to month-end close with journal entries, consolidation, and variance analysis.
• Support ProCare BU’s Marketing, Selling and G&A departments as the primary finance partner.
• Explain budgeted vs actual expenses and highlight corrective action opportunities.
• Collaborate with leaders to develop annual budgets and quarterly projections.
• Gather/analyze fee-per-case data, reconcile monthly customer billings, and monitor contractual compliance.
• Assist in developing key performance objectives and align with business partners.

Job description

This role serves as a key resource to the ProCare business, providing financial insight and support that helps leaders understand performance, plan for the future, and make informed business decisions. You will play an important role in the month-end close, budgeting and forecasting processes while partnering closely with Marketing, Selling and G&A leaders to analyze results, identify trends and opportunities, and drive accountability to financial and operational objectives.

This hybrid role can be based out of our San Jose, CA or Flower Mound, TX offices.

What You Will Do

• Key contributor to the month-end close process, including preparation of Journal Entries, consolidation of Financial Statements, and detailed variance analysis of general ledger accounts
• Support ProCare BU’s Marketing, Selling and G&A departments as the primary finance partner
• Provide explanations between budgeted and projected expenses vs. actual results, direct manager’s attention to opportunities for corrective action
• Partner with functional leaders to created annual budgets and quarterly projections, provide analysis on commentary on variances
• Gather and analyze fee-per-case volume data, prepare and reconcile monthly customer billings, and monitor compliance metrics to ensure accuracy and adherence to contractual requirements
• Assist in the development of key performance objectives and drive alignment with business partners

What You Need

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience

Preferred:

• CPA
• Minimum 1 year of public accounting experience

United States of America Pay Ranges:

• US10: $76,500 - $122,000 USD Annual
• US30: $90,400 - $144,200 USD Annual
