Job summary

Molex is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to support the rapid growth of its Optical Fiber business. This role will serve as a key business partner to commercial, operations, supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing teams across a global footprint.

The analyst will be self-directed, helping drive financial visibility, operational performance, and strategic decision-making as the business scales capacity, launches new products, and supports customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Progressive experience in finance and accounting functions.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Support global manufacturing sites by analyzing production costs, labor efficiency, material usage, yield performance, and manufacturing variances.
• Develop financial analyses, business scenarios and other modeling to support strategic decision making and initiatives
• Provide concise and insightful commentary on our financial and operational results. Communicate effectively within a global organization to understand and explain results, highlighting opportunities and risks to management
• Partner with business leaders to understand financial performance and operational drivers across the Optical Fiber business.
• Support Commercial Finance and Operations Finance teams by preparing valuable financial analysis that provides new insights and drive profitable action
• Provide insights into revenue, margin, productivity, and cost performance to drive business results.
• Assist in evaluating growth opportunities, customer programs, capacity expansions, and strategic investments.
• Collaborate with operations teams to understand cost drivers and support continuous improvement initiatives.
