Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial and analytical support to senior management and logistics leadership. The role includes month-end closings, forecasting, cost-improvement initiatives, and SOX compliance.

You will train business-unit staff and coordinate with Shared Services and Corporate Accounting to ensure accurate reporting. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) with 2–4+ years in corporate finance, and strong MS Office skills

Qualifications

• Two to four years or more in Corporate Finance in a Fortune 500 company or consulting firm.
• MBA preferred; Master’s degree considered an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Closing: journal entries, variance explanations, GL research.
• Identify opportunities for cost/productivity improvements with Ops and Sales leaders.
• Forecasting, business planning, and branch performance analysis.
• Provide financial training to Business Unit staff on policies and tools.
• Support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance through branch audits as needed.
• Liaise with Shared Services Center and Corporate Accounting.
