Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a senior Business Analyst V to support financial planning, budgeting, and cost management. The role requires strong financial analytics, cost analysis, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration across internal teams to ensure accurate reporting and effective cost controls.

The candidate will analyze costs, monitor performance, and partner with project managers and finance to drive cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in financial analytics, cost analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting, budgeting, expense management, or cost-control processes.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Experience analyzing financial performance metrics and KPIs.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage financial deliverables within established timelines and SLAs.
• Exposure to AI tools and their use in business or analytical workflows.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and forecast future costs.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and provide insights into financial performance.
• Support budget planning and monitor adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators and financial metrics.
• Partner with project managers, department leaders, finance teams, and other stakeholders to gather data and understand cost structures.
• Support monthly financial close activities by identifying and reporting costs that have not yet been invoiced.
• Manage and review operating expense requests.
• Review and approve Purchase Requisition requests.
• Review change requests and other cost-related adjustments.
• Support expense management and cost-control processes.
• Collaborate with internal contracts and procurement teams.
• Assist with ad hoc financial and operational deliverables as needed.
