Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Business Analyst V for a remote, 12-month engagement to support financial planning and cost management across multiple projects. You will analyze costs, monitor performance, manage expenses, and partner with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective cost controls.

• Review and approve Purchase Requisition requests and change requests related to costs.
• Support expense management and cost-control processes.

Title: Business Analyst V

Location: Remote

Duration:12 months

Compensation:$35 - $55/hr

Work Requirements:US Citizen, Green Card Holders, or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

We are looking for a Business Analyst V with strong experience in financial analytics, cost management, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration. This role will support financial planning and operational processes by analyzing costs, monitoring performance, managing expenses, and partnering with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective cost controls.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and forecast future costs.




• Prepare detailed financial reports and provide insights into financial performance.




• Support budget planning and monitor adherence to budgetary constraints.




• Track and analyze key performance indicators and financial metrics.




• Partner with project managers, department leaders, finance teams, and other stakeholders to gather data and understand cost structures.




• Support monthly financial close activities by identifying and reporting costs that have not yet been invoiced.




• Manage and review operating expense requests.




• Review and approve Purchase Requisition requests.




• Review change requests and other cost-related adjustments.




• Support expense management and cost-control processes.




• Collaborate with internal contracts and procurement teams.




• Assist with ad hoc financial and operational deliverables as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong experience in financial analytics, cost analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting.




• Experience with accounting, budgeting, expense management, or cost-control processes.




• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.




• Experience analyzing financial performance metrics and KPIs.




• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.




• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage financial deliverables within established timelines and SLAs.




• Exposure to AI tools and their use in business or analytical workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Oracle Unifier.




• Experience in the construction, data center, infrastructure, or oil & gas industries.




• Experience managing Opex and/or CapEx-related expenses.




• Experience with Purchase Requisitions, change requests, or project cost management.




• Experience supporting system implementations or process improvements.




• Familiarity with financial operations related to large-scale projects or development programs.
