Description

The Accounting, Senior Financial Analyst, is responsible for supporting the organization's financial reporting, accounting operations, analysis, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives. This role partners with cross‑functional teams to provide financial insights, ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information, support compliance requirements, and drive continuous improvement in financial processes and controls. The Senior Financial Analyst serves as a key contributor to departmental objectives and may lead projects, analyses, and initiatives that support strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex financial and accounting analyses, forecasting, and reporting to support business planning, decision‑making, and financial performance management.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes through the preparation, review, and analysis of financial data, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting packages.
• Analyze financial results, variances, trends, and key business drivers; develop recommendations and communicate insights to management and business partners.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, resolve issues, and support strategic business initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements while supporting internal and external audit activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting methodologies, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.
• Lead or support special projects, system enhancements, process improvement initiatives, and provide guidance on financial reporting and accounting‑related matters.

$86,800.00

Maximum Salary

$117,600.00

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• 3-5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, inventory control or related experience preferred.
• CPA certification or CPA candidacy preferred.
• Experience analyzing complex financial data and translating findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience working with financial systems, reporting tools, and large data sets.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Advanced analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong collaboration and relationship‑building abilities.
• Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP, financial reporting tools, and accounting software preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems.
• Ability to independently lead projects and drive process improvements.
• Demonstrated ability to influence business decisions through data‑driven insights.
