Job summary

• 42 mos. exp. in accounting/finance with advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Undergraduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field with 18+ mos. exp in accounting/finance.
• Graduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field with 6+ mos. exp in accounting/finance.
• 12 mos. exp as Financial Analyst, 66562.
• Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment; Fiscal Academy may substitute for 4 mos. of required accounting/fiscal experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops, reviews & synthesizes data from multiple financial sources to develop & explain reports, charts, tables to chief, managers & other internal & external stakeholders.
• Adminsisters fiscal aspects of several federal grants for the Floodplains, Dam Safety, and H2Ohio Programs.
• Designs & builds custom financial reports in FIN, Ohio Buys, Access, Excel.
• Serves as liaison in troubleshooting any financial issues, questions, concerns or communications (audits, OSS).
• Reconciles & resolves disputes with accounts outside of Ohio Treasurer of State; updates & recommends changes in fiscal use & policy.
• Assists budget office with forecasting & trend analysis of existing & expected funds.
• Starting hourly pay of $31.47/hr with multiple pay increases over first 7.5 years; end salary of $46.08/hr.
• COLA adjustments may apply; longevity pay after five years.

• Serves as liaison in troubleshooting any financial issues, questions, concerns or communications (e . g . ,audits, Ohio Office of Shared Services (OSS))




• Reconciles & resolves disputes with any accounts outsideofOhioTreasurer ofState(TOS);updates&recommends changes in fiscal use & policy




• Assists budget office with forecasting & trend analysis of existing & expected funds



• Starting hourly pay of $31.47/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 7.5 years of service, with an end salary of $46.08/hr.
