Job summary

The Piada Group is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to manage corporate and restaurant-level accounting, disbursements, and accounts payable oversight from its Columbus, Ohio office. This hybrid role requires in-office presence several days per week and a strong GAAP foundation.

Responsibilities include weekly income statements, reconciliations, bank activity, sales tax filings, and support for new restaurant openings and SOP updates.

Qualifications

• Broad accounting/finance knowledge with GAAP
• Four-year degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Proficient in MS Office and financial systems
• Excellent communication and multi-project management skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute weekly income statements
• Monthly reconciliation of accrual accounts and payables
• Daily/monthly bank reconciliations
• Prepaid asset accounting and inventory support
• Record and transmit sales tax filings and payments
• Assist with restaurant pre-opening and capital expenditure accounting
• Participate in monthly financial statement reviews
• Draft/update SOPs and support policy enforcement
