Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant for a hybrid role in Columbus, OH. You will prepare weekly income statements and perform monthly reconciliations across multi-unit operations.

The role focuses on prepaid assets, capex, pre-opening expenses, monthly sales tax filings, and supporting month-end reviews and inventory management. A Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance is required; multi-unit restaurant or retail accounting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience in multi-unit restaurant accounting preferred.
• Multi-unit retail accounting experience also considered.
• Strong background in financial reporting, reconciliations, and general accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute weekly income statements.
• Perform monthly account, accrual, credit card, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage prepaid assets, capital expenditure accounting, and pre-opening expenses.
• Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns and payments.
• Support month-end financial statement reviews and inventory management.
• Assist with accounting support, SOP documentation, and new location openings.
