Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Columbus-area client on a hybrid basis. You will own key accounting processes, manage month-end close, ensure GL accuracy, and partner with plant controllers and finance leadership to drive accurate financial reporting.

You have 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and familiarity with private equity-backed manufacturing environments. Role offers growth and cross-functional exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Private equity-backed company experience required/preferred.
• Manufacturing accounting experience is a plus.
• Experience with accruals, prepaids, and cash management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review account reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.
• Manage accruals, prepaids, and other balance sheet accounting functions.
• Support financial reporting and cash management processes.
• Partner with operational and finance teams on accounting initiatives.
