Job summary

Strafing AI in Urbandale, IA is seeking a Finance Transformation Senior Project Manager to lead a major enterprise finance transformation program. This role focuses on Finance PMO, operating model design, and cross-functional change across people, process, technology, and governance.

You will collaborate with senior Finance leaders and distributed teams, manage multiple workstreams, and drive plans from planning to completion while maintaining executive communications and risk management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of substantial Project Management or Program Management experience.
• Direct experience with Finance Transformation and/or Finance PMO initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Finance and/or Accounting processes and organizations.
• Experience delivering major projects within a large, complex enterprise environment.
• Demonstrated ownership of cross-functional transformation initiatives rather than project coordination alone.
• Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong project governance, risk, issue, dependency and change-management discipline.
• Experience working with and influencing senior Finance and business stakeholders.
• Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.
• Strong Microsoft 365 skills.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Ability to work onsite in Urbandale, Iowa Monday through Wednesday.
• Must already be based within reasonable commuting distance of the Des Moines/Urbandale area.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support major workstreams within a large-scale Finance transformation program.
• Drive projects from planning and mobilization through execution, transition and completion.
• Coordinate multiple concurrent projects, dependencies and geographically dispersed stakeholders.
• Support development and implementation of future-state Finance operating models.
• Manage project plans, implementation schedules, migration activities, milestones and dependencies.
• Identify project risks, issues and roadblocks and drive them toward resolution.
• Maintain strong project governance, controls, risk management and change-control disciplines.
• Prepare business cases, assessments, communication plans, detailed project plans and executive updates.
• Facilitate decisions involving Finance leaders, business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Present project status, risks, recommendations and key decisions to senior management.
• Influence stakeholders across functions and regions without relying solely on formal authority.
• Support successful transitions and integrations across people, process, technology and related operating-model components.
