Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting for large‑scale Space Force programs under the SFRC. The role will develop strategic financial plans, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with government contracting standards while partnering with program leadership to align financial decisions with mission objectives.

Qualifications

• BS in finance, business admin or related field required.
• MBA or related field preferred.
• 10+ years in financial management within defense/aerospace.
• Experience with FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and P&L for large programs.
• Expertise in government contracting, EVMS and compliance.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct financial planning, analysis and reporting for Space Force programs.
• Develop and manage annual operating plans and five-year forecasts.
• Prepare executive‑level financial presentations for senior leadership.
• Oversee EAC analysis, forecasting and variance reporting.
• Ensure compliance with EVMS and government contracting standards.
• Lead and mentor finance professionals to drive accountability.
