Job summary

Advanced Space, located in Westminster, CO, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to own FP&A, forecast, budget, and indirect-rate development in support of space missions and strategic programs. You will build processes, model numbers, and provide strategic financial insights; collaborate with executive leadership, contracts, and program controls to enable informed decisions.

Applicants should have 7+ years FP&A experience, knowledge of FAR/DFARS/NASA requirements, strong Excel and PowerPoint

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
• 7+ years of progressive FP&A experience
• Foundational knowledge of government contracting concepts (FAR/DFARS/NASA)
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare reports
• Experience analyzing financial statements
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities
• Proficient with Excel; PowerPoint a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Lead development of financial plans, forecasts, and budgets
• Oversee program budget preparation, execution, and cost controls; monitor variances and recommend actions
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance
• Prepare and present financial reports and projections for executive leadership
• Own indirect rate analysis and key deliverables supporting Company Strategic Plans
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and controls; manage risks and mitigation
