Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Contract Specialist Senior to support the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC). The role encompasses the full lifecycle of contract administration for complex government and commercial programs, including negotiating terms, ensuring FAR/DFARS compliance, and supporting proposal development.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field, 8+ years of contracting experience, DoD/Space Force program familiarity, DoD Secret clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of contracting, subcontracting and/or procurement experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in FAR/DFARS compliance requirements.
• Proven track record managing complex procurement actions and negotiations.
• DoD Secret Security Clearance within 60 days of hire (U.S. citizenship required).
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, teaming agreements, NDAs, and other contractual documents.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and 2 CFR 200 requirements for federal contracts.
• Conduct contract price analysis
• Support negotiations with partners and vendors on terms, conditions, and pricing.
• Support proposal efforts, including risk assessment and contractor document collection.
• Maintain accurate records in contract management systems and ensure audit readiness.
• Collaborate with program managers and finance teams to align contract strategies with project objectives.
