Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Contracts Specialist to support the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC). The role covers the full lifecycle of contract administration for complex government and commercial programs. You will negotiate terms, ensure FAR/DFARS compliance, and assist with proposals to mitigate risk and ensure timely execution.

Candidates should have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and 3+ years contracting experience, plus the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. A U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required with 3+ years contracting/ procurement experience.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS compliance and federal regulations.
• Ability to manage complex procurement actions and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, teaming agreements, NDAs, and other documents.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and 2 CFR 200 for federal contracts.
• Conduct contract price analysis and support negotiations with partners and vendors.
• Support proposal efforts, including risk assessment and document collection.
• Maintain records in contract management systems and ensure audit readiness.
• Collaborate with program managers and finance to align contract strategies with objectives.
