Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Engineering Project Management Senior to support the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC). The role focuses on leading large government projects, defining scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables with all stakeholders.

You will mentor others in the Project Operations Group and help shape processes and best practices. Qualifications include a STEM degree and 8+ years in project management, with Catalyst methodology experience and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM required.
• 8+ years of experience in project management, engineering project management preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope of work, schedules, budgets, and deliverables for large government programs.
• Document baselines and decompose work into manageable components.
• Coordinate with staff and stakeholders to ensure timely completion and communication of scope and objectives.
• Monitor project status and escalate issues, including schedule delays and budget variances.
• Identify risks and opportunities; implement mitigation strategies as approved.
