Job summary

Amphenol Network Solutions, headquartered in Liberty Lake, WA, seeks an Assistant Controller (Finance) to lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close, finalize GAAP reporting, and oversee general ledger integrity. The role partners with the CFO/BU Controller, ensuring audit-ready financials and strong internal controls.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of accounting, leadership experience, and manufacturing/cost accounting exposure, with CPA/CMA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience including close, reporting, general ledger, internal controls, and audit support.
• Three or more years of leadership or supervisory experience in a multi-location or public-company environment; manufacturing and cost-accounting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, eliminations, and consolidations.
• Prepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements and reporting packages; explain variances to Controller and leaders.
• Maintain general ledger integrity, including policy application, intercompany activity, revenue recognition, and reserves.
• Oversee manufacturing accounting: inventory valuation, standard costs, variances, and cost rolls.
• Maintain strong internal controls; document processes and lead remediation of deficiencies.
• Coordinate external and internal audits; manage requests and remediation plans with audit-ready documentation.
• Lead corporate compliance activities: hard-close requirements and policy certifications.
• Partner with Controller on capital expenditures and financial modeling; identify risks/opportunities.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll accounting, fixed assets, and treasury; mentor accounting staff.
