Amphenol Network Solutions in Liberty Lake, WA seeks an Assistant Controller to lead the monthly close, prepare financial statements, and govern the general ledger. You will manage manufacturing accounting, internal controls, audits, and compliance while partnering with the CFO/Business Unit Controller to drive financial insight and scalable processes.

The role requires CPA/CMA preferred, 7+ years of accounting experience including leadership, and experience in a multi-location or public-company

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master's preferred.
• CPA or CMA strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience including close, reporting,GL, controls, and audit support.
• 3+ years of leadership/supervisory experience.
• Manufacturing and cost-accounting experience required.
• Experience with multi-location/public-company environments preferred.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ability to research complex accounting matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close with reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, eliminations, and consolidations.
• Prepare and review financial statements per US GAAP and company policies; explain results to leadership.
• Manage GL integrity, including policies, substantiation, intercompany activity, revenue recognition, reserves.
• Oversee manufacturing accounting: inventory valuation, standard costs, variances, and cycle counts.
• Maintain internal controls; document processes; test controls; remediate deficiencies.
• Coordinate audits (external/internal/corporate) and remediation actions.
• Lead corporate compliance and recurring assessment activities; manage certifications.
• Partner with Controller on capex and financial modeling; assess risks/opportunities.
• Oversee A/P, A/R, payroll, fixed assets, treasury; ensure service levels.
• Coach and develop accounting team; build backup coverage.
• Improve financial systems, data quality, automation, and reporting.
• Evaluate new guidance and contracts; document conclusions.
