Job summary

Morton Salt, Inc. seeks a senior Finance Controller to oversee the Finance and Controlling functions for nine North America Highway and Chemical mine sites. You will supervise a team of controllers, coordinate annual budgeting, and ensure accurate cost reporting and asset management across sites.

Lead and develop site controllers, provide financial analysis to the segment President, and drive improvements in reporting, controls, and processes across SAP and other accounting systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 8–10 years of business experience with at least 5 years in managerial controllership.
• Experience in salt or manufacturing industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations for 9 NA sites.
• Full P&L and balance sheet responsibility for sites/businesses.
• Review site reconciliations and ensure SOX controls are followed.
