Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. seeks a Site Controller to lead accounting and financial planning for two small plants with revenue around $75M each. You will ensure US GAAP compliance, manage monthly close, control costs, and oversee working capital while partnering with operations for accurate reporting and planning.

The role requires 7+ years of accounting or 11+ with alternative credentials, manufacturing ERP familiarity (SAGE/IFS), and strong leadership. Some travel is involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required with 7+ years of experience, or 11+ years with alternative credentials.
• CPA preferred and manufacturing ERP exposure.
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong analytical, communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and analytics.
• Manage site accounting close with adherence to US GAAP and internal controls.
• Reconcile ledgers, inventory valuation, and internal control processes.
• Oversee working capital and capital expenditures and provide variance analyses.
• Collaborate with operations finance for daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
