Job summary

Child Care Resource Center is seeking a senior accounting leader to oversee all accounting functions, close processes, and financial reporting. Under the Vice President & CFO, the Controller will strengthen internal controls, drive system improvements, and provide strategic financial insights to support growth and mission impact.

This on-site, full-time role requires CPA, 4+ years of Controller-level experience and 10+ years leading large teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
• CPA active license required.
• 4+ years Controller-level experience supervising staff.
• 10 years leadership experience managing large teams and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting functions, including financial close, reporting, and general ledger.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant, audit-ready financial statements and regulatory compliance.
• Develop internal controls and drive process improvements across finance.
• Provide strategic financial insights to executives and support organizational growth.
• Oversee procurement, grants and contract accounting, audits and compliance.
