Job summary

Citizens Trust Bank seeks an experienced Controller in Atlanta, Georgia to lead the Accounting Department, oversee comprehensive financial reporting, and ensure regulatory compliance across GAAP standards.

You will manage monthly and quarterly closings, oversee the treasury function and budgeting process, and collaborate with the board and external auditors to support strategic objectives and financial integrity.

Qualifications

• Oversees day-to-day operations and activities of the Accounting Department.
• Manages month, quarter, and year-end closing processes and GL reconciliation.
• Prepares and ensures accuracy of financial statements and regulatory filings in accordance with GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with board members, shareholders, regulators and external auditors.
• Manages Treasury functions including investment portfolio and liquidity management.
• Coordinates and prepares tax returns for real property, personal property, intangible assets, etc.
• Develops and presents ALCO and Audit Committee information and reports.
