Job summary

Citizens Business Bank seeks a Corporate Controller to lead day-to-day accounting operations within Finance. You will manage close cycles, general ledger integrity, consolidation, and internal controls, while partnering with SEC and Regulatory Reporting for accurate disclosures.

The role directs the accounting team, drives process improvements, and ensures SOX compliance, governance, and policy updates across banking operations. Public company experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Minimum ten (10) years of progressive accounting experience.
• Banking or financial services experience required; public company experience preferred.
• CPA license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end close processes.
• Oversee general ledger, chart of accounts, journal entries, accruals and estimates.
• Maintain SOX controls, risk assessment, remediation, and escalation of deficiencies.
• Partner with SEC and Regulatory Reporting for Form 10-K/10-Q disclosures.
• Develop analytics to explain results and drive process improvements.
