Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation seeks a seasoned accounting professional to oversee financial reporting for a line of business from its on-site location at Truist Plaza in Atlanta. The role requires five days in the office and focuses on monthly close, regulatory reporting, and internal controls.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with five years of experience and strong GAAP knowledge, plus high analytical and communication skills. CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent education and related training.
• Five years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Ability to work independently with guidance in complex situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with GAAP, internal controls over financial reporting, and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality assured financial reporting of business activities within the LOB.
• Serve as liaison with Corporate Policy and accounting policy teams.
• Prepare and review monthly close reporting and analyses (EOC).
• Identify data needed for value-added management reporting.
• Perform variance analysis of GL activity and month-end close processes.
• Ensure SOX controls and internal control structure over LOB processes.
